Word from the Lord

As for me my chains are broken helping others on the road to recovery now
My Precious Friend,
You have obeyed Me and laid down the pain and hurt you went through, at My feet.
By faith, you have come into My Presence and yielded the gnawing memories with stinging tears in your eyes. You have cried to Me and surrendered them all.
But when you got up from the place of prayer, you found them creeping back and taking hold of your mind and heart all over again. You can’t seem to shake it off, and so you wonder if the healing will ever really come.
The painful experience happened a long time ago, but the pain is still raw and fresh as if it just happened.
And whenever the memories come back, it’s almost as if you lose control of your mind and you find yourself replaying all the different events over and over, almost re-living it like it’s happening all over again. You’re now frustrated and tired and almost resigning to living in the numbing pain.
Do not be discouraged. You need to keep giving your heart to Me. Keep training it to stay in My Hands as I put to you together again. Be like an athlete who’s learning to move and run again after an accident. You can’t give up now.
I would have healed you in an instant, but you are called to be a healer of broken hearts and needed to go through the process of healing.
So as you lift yourself again after another bout of depressing thoughts and feelings, and as you give your heart again to Me and engage My Presence, I will reveal My Love to you in different ways each time.
And one day, you’ll realise it doesn’t hurt anymore. The memories will still be there. But they will stand as testimonies others can lean on.
Your scars will be beautiful because they will give someone with fresh wounds hope, that theirs too, will heal.
So do not lose courage now. You are healing, even if it doesn’t feel like it right now.
Psalm 147:2
“He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds.”
Exodus 15:26
“For I am the Lord who heals you.”
Jeremiah 30:17
“I will give you back your health and heal your wounds.”
Your Healer,
God.
